Sat 4th July saw the annual Cleethorpes B&FBS members show and seminar, 38 birds were benched for our over sea's guest Jac Cuyton to place the awards

Best in show & Best breeder was a well presented young grey green cock benched by the partnership of C & M Snell

Best Any Age in show was a 08 grey cock benched by L & S Devaney

During judging Jac explained in detail the reason behind his placing’s taking the time to go into great detail on every bird showing both the good and bad points
A short break for lunch followed the mornings judging session then Jac took to the floor and gave the fourteen members and two guests present his talk on “The importance of feather”. Going into great detail on the many differing feather types and how these affect our pairings Jac then showed the audience photos of selected pairings and the resulting youngsters, I think all were in awe of the birds on display and it is a credit to Jac for producing so many quality budgerigars over the years
